 News for May, 2002! 

• 5/4/02: Our Karate Juku (Research) group conducted a training clinic that again brought several of our primary teachers together to share and gain knowledge.   With a small but energized group of students from various studios these instructors taught basic and advanced techniques that included: 

                Review of basic kata 

                Knife defenses 

                Basic break falls & sweeps 

                Advanced biomechanics 

On behalf of the Juku teachers and advisors I would like to extend our sincere thanks to the students who attended this clinic.  Their enthusiasm and willingness to learn continues to be the best reward any teacher could ask for.  Our next Juku meeting will be held in three months.
